Finding Calm in the Midst of the Storm

Updated: Jun 27

What a whirlwind the last couple of weeks have been. Like all of you, we've been trying to find ways to adjust to and cope with the "new normal" we are all experiencing. We believe the most important thing to remember is that we're all in this together. In the coming weeks, it's our goal to be a source of light and hope, sharing uplifting content, and helpful ways you can not only protect yourself and your families from Coronavirus, but also ways that you can keep your mental health in check. As a small non-profit, we are always looking for creative ways to make a difference. Through these uncertain times, we want to continue to help kids and families understand complex medical conditions (such as Coronavirus). We know that, even when things seem scary, there is always a reason to have hope. Have you found glimmers of light that you'd like to share with the world? Feel free to send an email to stacy {at} drawnfromvalor {dot} org so we can share it on social media. Do you know someone who would like to join us in helping kids and families navigate these trying times? Please feel free to share this post with them so they can join the list. Sending you all love and light. And always remember: you're not alone. Stacy Dove Director of Community Engagement
