Check out all of our

Mental Health Awareness Month posts on our Little Acorns blog and social media accounts @drawnfromvalor!

Week 1: Mental Health Touchbase & Quick Exercise

We had the privilege of sitting down with Dr. Heather Yardley, PhD, one of Drawn from Valor's subject matter experts
(SMEs), a pediatric psychologist from Nationwide Children's Hospital to discuss what it's like to create our animated shorts, how we can all take care of our mental health during COVID-19, and what you can do if you need to take a quick break. Watch the video to see what we learned!

Week 2: Facing Uncertainty Together

We know uncertainty can feel unnerving, but what if it led to something interesting? Take a deep breath, grab a piece of paper, and your favorite writing instrument, and draw-along with animator David Szilagyi while we explore the unknown together.

Week 3: Self-Care

isn't Selfish

Here are a few ways you can help to care for your mental health and give your mood a boost! What will you choose?

Week 4: The Power of Routines

One of the most helpful things you can do for the mental health of both you and your family is to establish a routine. What does your day look like?

Week 5: Connection

It’s more important than ever to connect with our friends and family while we’re social distancing. How are you staying connected to the people you love?
Take an art break with something for everyone in the family.
